I think he was taken advantage of by the store as they told him they'd buy it back when he was ready to sell for at least half of the retail price as it's a top of the line and rather 'rare' model- anyway, long story short, at his age he really couldn't play it much and it's in practically new condition.I have NO IDEA what these organs are worth retail although i am seeing ads for less than $10k (if this is in fact the correct model). about 5 years ago he purchased a brand new Lowrey Royale (I think that is the model)-I believe he paid over $60k new which included a fairly valuable trate-in. My 93 year old grandfather just passed away and played organs his entire life.
